Allen Meadows - Score: 87 (2001 November)

The fruit is aging much faster than the structure and presently displays elegant yet very earth and entirely mature secondary aromas and while the medium weight, moderately rich flavors are still quite tannic, intense and long, I worry that this will dry out. To be sure, there is good minerality and detail but I would be inclined to drink up now and over the next decade.
